Many Financial Services firms are finding a disconnect between business functions that are embracing a DevOps approach to delivering business value, and IT functions that are struggling to provide enterprise-class cloud solutions with the agility, flexibility and pay-per-use characteristics needed to fully benefit from DevOps.

What is holding back mainstream IT functions from supporting business functions that are already embracing DevOps, thus, forming what for years has been called ‘shadow IT’?

Citihub Consulting is inviting IT leaders to join this peer-only round table discussion where we will be discussing the following questions:

  • Are business and applications embracing DevOps faster than mainstream IT can support, and why is this the case?
  • What is holding back IT from delivering services that enable the adoption of DevOps?
  • What needs to change in order for IT to support the business adoption of DevOps?
  • How can an organisation realise the full benefits of DevOps while still supporting existing systems which rely on more traditional development and operations processes?

Held under the Chatham House Rule, this will be your opportunity to learn and share experiences with your peers from leading financial services firms.
