Advocating for diversity in the workplace, Citihub Consulting once again proudly sponsored Businesswomen of New York Networking Group’s (BNYNG) first gathering in 2020, timed to coincide with International Women’s Day.
“Rewards Don’t Come Without Risks: Take a Chance” was the first keynote topic delivered by Nanda Neng, Business Consultant, Coach and founder of Neng Consultancy Services, LLC. She encouraged participants to shift their mindsets from regrets to results and instead, to focus on lessons learned.

Equally inspiring, the second speaker was Kelly Wan, Professor of Economics at Pace University and VP at BNY Mellon, on the topic, “From the Tao to the Now.” She transported everyone to a journey from ancient China to today; traversing 5,000 years of the country’s turbulent yet fascinating history to see what has changed, and more importantly, what has remained the same. She then went on to challenge everyone on how these lessons can be applied in their day to day lives.
Because BNYNG is primarily a networking group, there was plenty of opportunity to mingle and share thoughts on how the discussions related to their professional and personal lives. The event closed out with everyone’s favorite segment, Shameless Plugs, where members were invited to share a quick announcement of something they want to draw attention to – from a recent accomplishment to an upcoming event or project.
BYNG is open to all professional women from various organizations across the New York area. It is an open space for career women to support other career women.
