The world of cloud computing – What’s new?
London (May 14, 2009) - Mark Ellis, head of Citihub Data Center services, presented a session on cloud computing and the role it should play in corporate data center strategy at the IDC Enterprise Datacentre Conference in London.
The presentation addressed hot topical issues like what’s new in the cloud space; whether cloud is an opportunity or threat, the challenges of cloud adoption; how cloud principles be leveraged to improve efficiency; and more.
The event was attended by Heads of IT, IT directors, IT managers, Infrastructure architects, Data Center managers, CIOs, COOs from larger financial and non-financial enterprises.
The conference focused on the practice of virutualisation and was designed to provide Senior IT decision makers the knowledgeable to make decisions about how to develop a flexible and cost-effective infrastructure and will include end-user case studies and presentations from leading experts and IDC analysts.
